Tall Grass and Noxious Weeds

 Residents are Reminded
to Keep their Lawn Cut and
Yard Free of Noxious Weeds.


City Ordinance No. 240 Sec. 678.01 states:
Residents and Homeowners are Responsible
for keeping grass and vegetation cut to a
height LESS than 8-INCHES and their yards
and lots free of Noxious Weeds to avoid
Enforcement Action.

Action may be taken by the DPW to have
weeds, grass and other vegetation removed
and/or destroyed at the cost of the property
owner in the manner of a lien against the property!

What Does the Emergency Siren Mean?
 
   Testing of the Emergency Sirens is scheduled
in the City of Perry at 12-Noon
the first Saturday of each month.
 
    The Emergency Siren is
sounded when
threatening weather
approaches the area as
well as other
emergency situations.
