About Us

Welcome to the City of Perry!

Close to everywhere but out of the hustle and bustle.

Perry is located approximately 22 miles northeast of Lansing on I-69, with Flint 30 minutes to the east and Detroit 60 minutes to the southeast.

The City of Perry is an excellent place to live, work, and travel. It boasts easy access to two international airports; Capital Region International Airport in Lansing and Bishop International Airport in Flint.

Our community is made up of single-family homes, multi-family dwellings, several apartment complexes and an assisted living community nestled with in the neighborhoods.  Perry Public Schools, home of the Ramblers, offer an excellent learning environment for all age levels. Medical, dental and vision services are all available within city limits.

Step back in time to walks through a quiet city to the park or ice-cream shop.  Spend peaceful evenings on the porch.  Perry Public Schools and local churches provide the focus of gatherings.  Neighborhood restaurants are a great opportunity to meet with family and friends.  Main Street offers a variety of unique shopping opportunities. Other downtown highlights are the Community District Library and the historic Calkins-Macqueen House, home to the Perry Historical Society.

The city has multiple community park spaces.  Focus on healthy workouts at Jubilee Park while the kids play.  Visit Veterans Memorial Park to pay tribute to our service men and women.  Shoot hoops or play volleyball at the elementary lower playground.  City facilities also offer 2 ball fields, two rentable pavilions and a rentable community room that are great spaces for celebrations.
