Notice of Write-In Candidate Declaration of Intent Filing Deadline
Notice is hereby given that any individual wishing to be a write-in candidate for the General Election on November 3rd must file a Declaration of Intent with the Clerk’s Office no later than:
Friday, October 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
POSTIONS TO BE ELECTED
- Mayor (term expiring Dec 1, 2028)
- 3 – Council Seat (term expiring Dec. 1, 2030)
Declarations of Intent received after 4:00 p.m. on October 23, 2026, will not be accepted, and write-in votes for candidates who have not timely filed a Declaration of Intent will not be counted, as provided by applicable election law.
Declaration of Intent forms are available from the Clerk’s Office.
