NOTICE OF EARLY VOTING PRECINCT AND HOURS PRIMARY ELECTION — August 4, 2026
To the qualified electors of THE CITIES of Corunna, Durand, Laingsburg and Perry and, THE TOWNSHIPS of Antrim, Bennington, Burns, Caledonia Charter, Fairfield, Hazelton, Middlebury, New Haven, Owosso Charter, Perry, Rush, Sciota, Shiawassee, Venice, Vernon and Woodhull in THE COUNTY OF SHIAWASSEE, STATE OF MICHIGAN
Notice is hereby given according to the Agreement for Election Services between the County of Shiawassee and the aforementioned municipalities and under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site for the August 4, 2026 Primary Election (except the City of Owosso) will be the following:
SGT CLAY W. REEVE’S VETERANS CENTER (voting entrance in the back)
1042 NORTH SHIAWASSEE STREET
CORUNNA, MI 48817
All qualified electors in the aforementioned municipalities have the right to mark a ballot and deposit the ballot in a tabulator beginning the second Saturday before an election and ending the Sunday before the election. Early voting will be available at the early voting site for the following hours:

This Notice is given on behalf of the City and Township Clerks of Shiawassee County, in accordance with Section 9.1 of the Agreement for Election Services between the County of Shiawassee and the aforementioned municipalities (except the City of Owosso). Public Accuracy Test
NOTICE OF EARLY VOTING PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026
To the qualified electors of THE CITIES of Corunna, Durand, Laingsburg and Perry and, THE TOWNSHIPS of Antrim, Bennington, Burns, Caledonia Charter, Fairfield, Hazelton, Middlebury, New Haven, Owosso Charter, Perry, Rush, Sciota, Shiawassee, Venice, Vernon and Woodhull in THE COUNTY OF SHIAWASSEE, STATE OF MICHIGAN
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Accuracy Test shall be conducted for the electronic equipment that will be used to tabulate the votes in each of the aforementioned jurisdictions for the August 4, 2026 Primary Election, on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. at the Sgt. Clay W. Reeve’s Veterans Center, 1042 North Shiawassee Street, Corunna, Michigan. Election law requires that Public Accuracy Tests be conducted to demonstrate the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast.
Persons with disabilities needing accommodation should contact the County Clerk.
This Notice is given on behalf of the Township and City Clerks of Shiawassee County, in compliance with MCL 168.798.
Board of Canvassers
The Early Voting Site will be Closing the Polls at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 located at the Sgt. Clay W. Reeves Veterans Center, 1042 N. Shiawassee Street, Corunna, MI 48817.
The Shiawassee County Board of Canvassers will meet at the Early Voting Site, listed above, to canvass the August 4, 2026 Primary Election
This will include the Early Voting for each Township and City (except for the City of Owosso) in Shiawassee County
Tentative Schedule:
Thursday, August 6, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday, August 7, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, August 10, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: Times are subject to change as canvass could be shortened due to completion.
