The new Honor and Remember flag was officially dedicated Thursday, May 5, at Veterans' Memorial Park at Perry City Hall.
Ceremony participants, included Mayor James A. Huguelet, local resident John Aldrich, who is a member of the Sons of AmVets
as well as treasurer of the Honor and Remember organization and Michigan Chapter Director LeRoy Paige of the
Honor and Remember organization.

Council members Christopher Powell and Terry Wood took charge of organizing the event. Council members each made a
donation to purchase the flag.

The distinctive red and white flag with the big yellow star, now flies beneath the American and POW-MIA flag located at the
center of the impressive flag display at Veterans' Memorial Park.
