In 2012, the City of Perry and the PerryFest Committee  joined with Perry Baptist Church
to provide local families with children an opportunity to Celebrate Easter.

The event begins with the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Perry Baptist Youth group, who provides thousands
of eggs each year for children of all ages to search for.
Families are asked to provide their own basket or bag
to put the eggs in.

The Egg Hunt is followed by an Easter story, provided by Perry Baptist Church.

The PerryFest Committee and other volunteers then open the "games area" generally held in the pavilion. All the
games are free and children win a prize every time they play.

And, Don't Forget the Easter Bunny ~ he always makes an appearance to visit with the children and a photo
opportunity for the parents. So, Don't Forget your Cameras!

The annual Easter Celebration is held the Saturday between Good Friday and Easter at Veterans Memorial Park,
located at Perry City Hall, 203 West Polly Street, Perry.
