Community Recycling is open at the Southwest Shiawassee Waste Control (aka as the Morrice Transfer Station),
located at 1470 W. Britton Road, midway between the City of Perry and Morrice (just east of the Railroad Tracks).

Supported by donations, the Single Stream Recycling program, is sponsored by the
City of Perry, Perry Township and the Village of Morrice.

The Recycling Center is Open in conjunction with the SSWC site hours, including:
April through December
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday * 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday
December through March
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday * Closed Thursday


 
 
 
Single Stream Recycling makes recycling easier for patrons. A Multi-bin
              Container is available for residents to dispose of
Plastic Bottles and Jugs;  and Tin Cans and Aluminum.
 All of the items can be deposited together in the same bin.
 NO GLASS, Please!

* The Electricity Saved through these efforts could run

The Recycling Committee conducts meetings
once per quarter in 
December, March, June and September.

Everyone is Welcome!

    All meetings are held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.    

 
 

 A separate Open Top Container is available for recycling
Cardboard and Box Board.
NO STYROFOAM, Please!





A separate trailer is available for disposal of Newspapers only.
Or, Newspapers may be placed in the Single Stream Recycling container.


   
  A Donation Box is Available
near the
Single Stream Recycling Container.
A donation of $2 per visit is requested,
to help keep the site open.
